I'm selling it with both die cast rims and traditional flanged hoops. That way the purchaser has the option for two distinctly different sounds.

    Description

    This beauty is a one off from Canopus. At the time I was playing with a double pedal so I preferred the 13" diameter snare to 14". I was interested in a stave type drum so Canopus thought this could possibly simulate that sound. I am selling it with BOTH die cast and regular hoops. Some folks feel that die cast hoops can choke a smaller diameter snare, so I am offering this great drum with both options. As usual, the drum is impeccably made with highest attention paid to both detail AND quality.
