    Professor Eddie Poferl (1879-1943) began working at a very early age but didn't find his calling until he began tattooing for a living.
    The images (note the simple line work and use of color) in his sheets of flash include timeless motifs
    This collection of antique flash sheets include a collection of sailors, American flags, ships, angels, eagles and so much more!!
    Many of these same motifs would later be incorporated by Sailor Jerry, as well as many other tattoo artists.
