Vintage Ludwig Supra Phonic.
From the earlier 1970s -- pointed corner blue and olive badge.
Chicago, USA production. 14 x 5 size.
One of the most popular snare drums ever made -- and renown as the most recorded snare drum in history.
The drum shell is in excellent condition -- brilliant chrome finish. Very clean with a relatively few areas of light pitting -- very clan indeed compared to many of these older Supras which have extensive surface shell pitting and flaking. All chrome hardware is in excellent condition.
10 lugs. All original lugs and original throw off and butt plate. Original internal tone control muffler and external control dial. No non original holes in the shell and the shell is in round. All components are in excellent working order.
Clear Remo coated batter head and Remo clear resonate head -- both in excellent shape.
Super nice Supra that delivers crisp, responsive tone with excellent attack and projection -- exactly what you expect from a vintage Supra Phonic.
